Installation of SYTEC cornices
Description
A cornice is an external cladding of a bridge structure. It works also as a stay in place formwork when pouring concrete for the pavement slab. Due to using polymer concrete to produce cornices, it also provides excellent protection against harmful atmospheric factors.
External surface of the cornice is covered with a smooth polyester gelcoat laminate, which may be in any RAL colour.
Intended use
The SYTEC cornices are applied in the road-and-bridge building industry. Applying SYTEC polymer concrete cornices when constructing such structures as bridges, footbridges, overbridges, viaducts brings measurable benefits - excellent physical resistance and high resistance to chemical substances, resulting in a long-term serviceability.
